Pirates Place Archer On IL, Recall Agrazal
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The Pirates pitching staff has been dealt yet another injury.
Pitcher Chris Archer has been placed on the 10-day injured list with right shoulder inflammation.
Along with Archer, pitcher Clay Holmes has also been played on the 10-day injured list with left quadriceps discomfort.
In order to fill these roster spots, the Pirates have recalled pitches Dario Agrazal and Parker Markel from Indianapolis.
