Pirate Prospect Placed On DL
Pittsburgh (KDKA)- One of the Pirates hotter hitting prospects has been placed on the 15-day disabled list.
Indianapolis shortstop Chase d'Arnaud has been placed on the disabled list because of an injured groin.
This is a bad break for d'Arnaud who's been hitting the ball really well lately.
In his last 10 games, he's hitting .357 with 1 HR, 6 RBI, 5 SB, .372 OBP and a .500 slugging percentage.
The 24-year old prospect has also improved his defensively tremendously over last season.
Considering the Pirates don't really have any other shortstop prospects in the system, d'Arnaud could be the Pirates shortstop in the near future.
