1 Person Injured After Crashing Pickup Truck Into Utility Pole
HEMPFIELD TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- A pickup truck crash brought down wires and closed a road overnight in Westmoreland County.
Emergency officials say one person was injured after crashing the pickup truck into a utility pole and tree.
It happened early Wednesday morning in the 400 block of Stone Church Road in Hempfield Township.
The Youngwood Fire Chief posted a photo of the wreckage to Twitter, saying, "On scene: one pickup truck into a pole and tree, wires and poles down with injuries on Stone Church Road. Roadway closed."

The person's injuries were minor.
The road was closed for several hours overnight.
