Pharmacy Robber Waited In Line, Passed Note Asking For Painkillers
BETHEL PARK, Pa. (AP/KDKA) - Police are searching for a robber who waited patiently in line then handed a clerk a note saying he wanted to appear to be a normal customer while stealing painkillers from a pharmacy in the Pittsburgh suburbs.
Police in Bethel Park say the man who robbed the Walgreens there about 8 p.m. Sunday used a note saying, The note read: "this is a robbery… Make me look like a regular customer. Don't make me jump the counter. Don't call Cops."
The note also asked for specific, name-brand prescription drugs.

Police say the man didn't show a weapon and don't know if he had one.
The white man was dressed in a dark, zippered hooded sweatshirt, a New York Yankees cap and light khaki pants. He's about 6 feet tall, unshaven and wore thick glasses.
