WILMERDING, Pa. (KDKA) -- Two teenagers are charged with homicide after another teenager was shot and killed in Wilmerding on Wednesday afternoon.

Officers found an 18-year-old shot to death after dispatchers were called about a shooting on State Street shortly after 2 p.m.

The body was found in the middle of the street next to a white SUV that had a bullethole through the windshield. An evidence marker was placed on the ground nearby.

Police said 19-year-old Jackiel Young and 18-year-old Lynell Wilson-Smith were charged with homicide, robbery, conspiracy and carrying a firearm without a license in the victim's death. The medical examiner hasn't released the victim's identity.

Ring doorbell camera from a neighbor captured a barrage of gunfire. One neighbor said after they heard gunfire, they went out to try to help, but there was nothing they could do. Another neighbor said after the shooting, they saw someone running behind their home.

Nolan Maurizi's family owns a nearby business, and he said almost everybody on the street comes in.

"Everybody here is family. It feels like a nightmare for me. I couldn't imagine the people closer to the victim," Maurizi said.
