Pens/NY Islanders Rematch
Pittsburgh (KDKA)- Tonight is the rematch between the Pittsburgh Penguins and the NY Islanders. If tonight's game turns into a fightfest, the Pens have adjusted their lineup to be prepared.
Everyone remembers the last time these two teams met, 65 penalties, 346 penalty minutes, 15 fighting majors and 20 misconducts.
The Pens have to be careful because, unlike the Islanders, they're playing for something.
They trail the Flyers by 1 point and have a 3 point lead over Tampa Bay. With a win tonight, the Pens clinch home ice in the 1st round of the playoffs.
If the game turns ugly, the Pens lineup will be prepared. Both, Deryk Engelland and Erik Godard will return to the lineup.
Godard will return to the lineup for the first time since Feb 11th, when he received a 10 game suspension for leaving the Pens bench.
Head coach Dan Bylsma is also making a change in the defense pairings. Matt Niskanen will be a healthy scratch for tonight's game. He's been a -6 in his last 10 games.
