Pens Send Jeffrey Back To Minors
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Despite playing three nice games in the big leagues, the Pens have decided to send Dustin Jeffrey back to the minors.
The Penguins have announced that Jeffrey is going back to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the AHL.
Jeffrey, 22, appeared in three games with Pittsburgh this season. He recorded his first career two-point game with a goal and an assist Dec. 11 at Buffalo.
The Pens roster is filled with 3rd line type players like Jeffrey. Until guys like Mark Letestu, Tyler Kennedy, Max Talbot, Aaron Asham aren't here, Jeffrey is going to have a hard time sticking with the Penguins.
