Pens Prepare For Boston
PITTSBURGH (93-7 THE FAN) -- Following Wednesday's game against Montreal, the Pens will play in Boston on Friday.
It will likely be the first major sporting event in that city since the Boston Marathon bombings on Monday.
"It's crazy. Obviously, it's an awful, awful thing," said Pens' forward Brandon Sutter.

"I feel, when you watch it, a sense of loss of the freedom that you enjoy when you see something like that happening," said head coach Dan Bylsma. "It's not just the Boston Marathon that is happening that day. To have an act like that happen, it's unnerving."
Pens' forward Craig Adams went to school at Harvard, married a Boston girl and his father-in-law is the former Massachusetts governor. Adams was there when his wife's dad congratulated runners at the finish line.
"It's a city that's close to me, been kind of like a second home for me," Adams said. "I know people who were there, close to being affected. It's tough. I've been right there, cheering on friends. It's hard to believe."

Playing college hockey at Boston College, defenseman Brooks Orpik remembers Patriots' Day and the Marathon well.
"It was always a fun day, especially with all of the college students there. It was a big drinking day for everybody. Everyone kind of shares the same feelings, it was unfortunate and unnecessary."
"I think for us to go there, we need to worry about playing our game," Sutter said about Friday's game. "Hopefully by then the drama has died down a bit. Again, just a terrible, terrible thing."
"If there is a city that can bounce back from it," added Orpik. "Boston can."
