Pens, Letestu Agree To 2-Year Extension
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The Pittsburgh Penguins have signed center Mark Letestu to a two-year extension.
The deal was announced Tuesday night and is worth an average of $625,000 a year.
The 25-year-old Elk Point, Alberta native is currently in his first full season with the Pittsburgh Penguins.
So far this season, he has nine goals and 19 assists in 45 games. He ranks in the top ten in goals and points among all NHL rookies.
Prior to this season, Letestu had spent over three years in the AHL as a member of the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins.
In 191 games with the Baby Pens, Letestu scored 51 goals and added 83 assists.
