Poll: Pennsylvanians Favor Statewide Ban On Fracking
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Pennsylvanians are split on the future of the fracking industry.
A Franklin and Marshall College poll found 48 percent of voters favor a statewide ban on fracking while 39 percent oppose such a ban.
The major divide is by location.
Sixty-one percent of people in Allegheny County want fracking to be banned across the state.
But only 28 percent in the rest of Southwestern Pennsylvania are in favor of a ban.
