Proposal would allow medical marijuana dispensaries to sell edibles to patients
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A new bill that has been proposed in the Pa. State House would expand the range of products that medical marijuana dispensaries are allowed to offer.
If passed, the measure would allow patients to buy medical marijuana edibles.
Sponsors of the bill cite laws in 25 other states and patient benefit.
Current laws ban growers and processors from making medical marijuana into any form of food and ban dispensaries from selling the products.
