Pennsylvania Delegates Enjoy First Day Of Republican National Convention
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- It was the first official day of the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, which meant plenty of food and talk for the delegates from Pennsylvania.
"If you win Pennsylvania, you will be the next president of the United States," said Pa. Republican Party Chair Rob Gleason.
The 71 Pennsylvania delegates plus alternates, guests and politicians enjoyed a breakfast of Eggs Benedict and sausage before heading over to the Quicken Loans Arena.
"People from across the country, people very excited to be here, so it's going to be a good couple of days," said Congressman Keith Rothfus.
Besides the business of nominating a presidential candidate, the convention is supposed to be fun.

"I will do a Steeler and Penguins theme every night, I've got 6 different jerseys," said Mike Hampton. "I also have our great Steeler terrible towel."
Marianne Stearms displayed a talking Donald Trump doll, that said "I should have myself fired for having you around."
"Probably bought it maybe 7 years ago, always admired Donald Trump for being a good business man," she said.
Stearms may not get her Trump doll past security, but there is one thing that definitely won't get in.
"It's a Trumb-mobile that I created in Pittsburgh," said Vincent Fusca of Churchill. "I traveled to New York, West Virginia, all over Pennsylvania, Canada. The reaction is phenomenal."
