Penguins Top Hurricanes, 4-2
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The Penguins rallied to beat the Carolina Hurricanes, 4-2 Tuesday night.
Jordan Staal, James Neal, Steve Sullivan and Pascal Dupuis all netted goals. Tyler Kennedy had two assists.
The Penguins fell behind 1-0 after Tim Brent scored at 10:23 in the first.
Then James Neal, set up by Chris Kunitz and Evgeni Malkin, came through with a wrister on Justin Peters to tie it 1-1 in the second.
Sullivan's power play goal made it 2-1 in the third. Goals from Dupuis and Staal gave the Pens a 4-1 lead until Tuomo Ruutu made it 4-2.
The Penguins killed Carolina's two power play opportunities.
Marc-Andre Fleury had 16 saves.
