Penguins Sign Tyler Kennedy
Pittsburgh (KDKA)- Jaromir Jagr is out, Tyler Kennedy is in.
The Penguins and Kennedy have agreed on a 2-year deal worth a total of $4 million.
It was clear from the start that Kennedy wanted to remain a Penguin and agreed to a deal that was below market value.
Kennedy scored a career-high 21 goals last season and instantly becomes the top right wing on the Pens roster.
The Pens now have approx 4 million left under the salary cap to spend.
Look for GM Ray Shero to find a veteran right wing to add to the roster.
