Penguins Recall Steve MacIntyre
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) — The Pittsburgh Penguins and general manager Ray Shero recalled forward Steve MacIntyre from the team's American Hockey League affiliate, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
In turn, forward Eric Tangradi was sent back down to the Baby Pens after being called up for two games.
MacIntyre returns after a four-game conditioning trip in the minors. He has appeared in the Penguins lineup just four times so far this season, registering no points and two penalty minutes.
MacIntyre practiced with the Penguins Wednesday morning at Consol Energy Center and is expected to make the trip to Florida for games at Tampa Bay and Florida starting tonight against the Lightning.
