Penguins Forward Daniel Sprong Out 7-To-8 Months After Shoulder Surgery
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Pittsburgh Penguins forward Daniel Sprong underwent shoulder surgery and is out at least seven months the team reported.
The shoulder surgery was successful general manager Jim Rutherford said.
The team says Sprong will be sidelined 7-to-8 months and that head team physician Dr. Dharmesh Vyas of the UPMC Sports Medicine team performed the surgery.

Sprong was injured during practice while serving as one of the 'Black Aces' during the Penguins' Stanley Cup championship run.
