Pedestrian Critical After South Side Hit & Run Accident
SOUTH SIDE (KDKA) – Police are investigating after a pedestrian was critically injured in a hit-and-run accident on the South Side early Thursday morning.
According to police, the accident happened around 1:30 a.m. near the intersection of East Carson Street and Arlington Avenue.
After striking the pedestrian, the vehicle sped off, crashed and flipped a few blocks down the road at the intersection of East Carson and 6th Streets.
The driver fled the scene and it is unknown if they have been taken into custody at this time.
The victim is said to be suffering from serious injuries.
