Paul Zeise Expects Conclusion To Pitt Head Coaching Search By Thursday
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Pitt Football Beat Writer for the Post-Gazette Paul Zeise joined Seibel, Starkey and Miller on Sportsradio 93-7 The FAN to discuss the Pitt head coaching search.
Zeise said there is no doubt Pitt wants to get this done by the holidays, and we'll know something by Thursday at the very latest as long as they can get a deal done with the guy they choose.
When it came to discussing Mario Cristobal being the top choice, Paul believed Pitt is at the point where they're putting a package together for him in hopes that when they make the offer, he will immediately sign it and be announced the new head coach.
According to Zeise, there are some people at Pitt who are a part of making this decision that worry Cristobal won't want to leave Florida and if he does, how long he'll stay at Pitt until a job opens back there.
We wrapped things up with Paul having him breakdown the offenses both Cristobal and Paul Chryst run.
