Pastor's Wife Shoots Armed Man Who Tried To Rob Her Family
PHILADELPHIA (KDKA/AP) -- Police say a Philadelphia pastor's wife pulled out a gun and shot an armed man who was trying to rob her and her family.
Pastor Robert Cook, his wife and 12-year-old son were returning home when they were approached by a man armed with a rifle Thursday night.
The pastor told CBS Philadelphia there was a fight over the rifle.
"He tried to grab my wallet and I turned like I was going to get my wallet, but I was just stalling and he hit me really hard in the back of the head with the gun. Swung it like a baseball bat."

That's when the pastor's wife got involved.
The 38-year-old woman reportedly pulled out her licensed gun and shot the suspect once in the leg. He dropped the rifle and took off, hopping on to a moving SUV to escape.
Police found the man limping a mile away.
