Palestinian In South Carolina Is Huge Steelers Fan
PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) -- Steeler fans are everywhere, coming in every size and shape. Take Zaheer, a Palestinian now living in Charleston, S.C.
He owns a shoe store there, but it is the other merchandise in his store that turns heads.
There is a giant "Welcome to Steelers Country" flag on the wall and tons of Steelers memorabilia, and Zaheer says it isn't just about selling stuff - he's a huge Steelers fan and will enthusiastically tell you that.
KDKA AM's John Shumway ran into Zaheer while in Charleston, and he talks to Zaheer about how he became a Steelers fan and what it's like to be a lover of the black and gold in South Carolina.
