Man killed, another injured in shooting near Chief's Cafe in North Oakland
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - One man is dead and another was injured after a shooting near a bar in North Oakland just as the doors were closing.
Just after 1:30 a.m. Friday, they were called to Cheif's Cafe for two men who had been shot.
One was lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition but has since been upgraded to stable.
Another man was found laying face down inside the bar. He was pronounced dead at the scene. He was later identified as 55-year-old Calvin F. Baldridge.
Pittsburgh police's violent crime unit is investigating.
