Water Service Restored In Oakland
OAKLAND (KDKA) – Water service has been restored in Oakland.
According to Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority officials, a 12-inch line broke on Bates Street Tuesday morning.
The Glenwood Bridge exit from the Parkway East inbound was closed.
Drivers were frustrated on Bigelow Boulevard.
"Again, there's no notice back there, there's no notice anywhere," one driver said. "Half the streets, you go up the street and you find out it's a dead end because they blocked it off."
Bates Street reopened at about 5:30 p.m.
