Man Dies After Being Shot In The Head In Northview Heights

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - Police say that one man is dead and another was injured after two separate shootings in Northview Heights overnight.
Of the two men, one was rushed to the hospital in critical condition after being shot in the head. Police say he has since died from his injuries.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office identifies him as 18-year-old Tyjuan Malachi of Pittsburgh.
Just after midnight, police responded to a call of multiple shots fired in the 800 block of Mount Pleasant Road.
Officers were already in the area investigating an earlier shooting and quickly relocated - finding Malachi who had been shot in the head. He passed away after being rushed to Allegheny General Hospital.
Earlier in the evening, police responded to another call for several shots fired around 9:15 p.m.
A short time after that, a man arrived at the hospital with several gunshot wounds, his condition is unknown.
Detectives from Pittsburgh Police's Major Crimes Unit were at both scenes and are investigating.
