No Concussion For Crosby
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Hours after Penguins' captain Sidney Crosby visited with head coach Dan Bylsma and some teammates at CONSOL Energy Center on Thursday, Philadelphia television and radio host Howard Eskin reported (via Twitter) that Crosby has another concussion and won't play again this season.
Penguins General Manager Ray Shero said that isn't true.
He said there are no signs of any concussion symptoms or a concussion at this time.
KDKA's Jory Rand has more from Penguins' practice:
Crosby broke his jaw and lost some teeth when he took a puck to the face last Saturday versus the New York Islanders.
Bylsma told reporters after Thursday's optional practice, "He looked good, a little bit better than he did on Sunday. He sounds a little different, but talks just fine."
Jarome Iginla was one of the players that spoke with Crosby and said, "He's doing great; he looks good."
According to Bylsma, there's no timetable for Crosby to resume workouts.
