No Changes For Penguins?
Ever since their Game 6 loss at Tampa Bay, fans and the media have been talking about changes they'd make to the Pens lineup. Has head coach Dan Bylsma made any changes?
The Pens are currently holding their morning skate prior to tonight's Game 7. If this morning is any indication, Bylsma is not going to change anything.
Also, KDKA's Casey Shea has his "Keys To Game 7." It's a good read check it out.
Here's what's going on this morning:
(Check back because I'll update this throughout the morning and afternoon)
Pens Lines:
1st Line: Neal - Letestu - Kovalev
2nd Line: Kunitz - Staal - Kennedy
3rd Line: Dupuis - Talbot - Conner
4th Line: Rupp - Adams - Asham
5th Line: Tangradi - Comrie - Godard
1st PP Unit: Neal - Staal - Kovalev
Michalek - Letang
(10:58 AM): KDKA-TV's Mike Zappone reports that Tangradi isn't working on the Pens 2nd PP unit either. Doesn't look as though he'll be in the lineup
Also, Sid Crosby isn't practicing with the team this morning. His dad, Troy, is watching the practice from the stands.
(11:28 AM): Practice is over and Bylsma is about to speak to the media.
11:32 AM: Bylsma says every lineup decision today will be game time.
11:33 AM: Says Jordan Staal has become the leader who has stepped up in Sid's absence. One of the guys they have leaned on as an indicator for their team night to night.
11:34 AM: Admits it's harder to get Sid and Cooke involved in the skates when trying to prepare a team for big games.
Also, no timetable or change in Sid's or Malkin's status. Players still know Sid is a "ways away" from returning.
