NHL Network Analyst EJ Hradek Talks Realignment Plan
PITTSBURGH (93-7 THE FAN) -- NHL Network analyst EJ Hradek joined The Fan Morning show Wednesday to discuss the NHL's realignment plan and new headshot guidelines.
The new realignment plan was announced earlier this week.
The NHL plans to split into four independent conferences under the plan with each team playing conference opponents five to six times during the regular season depending on conference size (two conferences are comprised of eight teams and two of seven teams). Every team will also play all non-conference opponents twice a year.
Hradek also offered up a preview of Thursday night's Pittsburgh Penguins-Philadelphia Flyers game.
