NFL on CBS' Phil Simms Looks Back At Steelers/Chargers
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) -- CBS Sports NFL analyst and two-time Super Bowl champion quarterback Phil Simms joined The Fan Morning Show on Wednesday to look back at the Steelers' loss to the Chargers.
He said a myriad of issues hurt the team in the defeat.
"I didn't think early the receivers were really separating from the defensive backs- stuff like that," he said. "They played a football team that was loose, ready to go, ready to play."
He offered an in-depth explanation of a whole host of problems that have been plaguing the team, which are detailed in the full interview, and previewed the Steelers' upcoming matchup with the Cowboys.
Simms will call that game on Sunday with Jim Nantz. The contest kicks off at 4:25 p.m., and can be seen on KDKA-TV.
