NFL Experts Grade Steelers' Overall Draft
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - Desperately in need of an injection of youth and talent on the defensive side of the ball, the grades are in on the Steelers' 2015 draft class.
Kirk Larrabee of 247Sports.com compiled the grades given out by experts all across the NFL as they weighed in on players now wearing the black and gold for the Steelers.
- Round 1: Bud Dupree, OLB, Kentucky
- Round 2: Senquez Golson, CB, Ole MISS
- Round 3: Sammie Coats, WR, Auburn
- Round 4: Doran Grant, CB, Ohio State
- Round 5: Jesse James, TE, Penn State
- Round 6: Leterrius Walton, DE, Central Michigan
- Round 6: Anthony Chickillo, OLB, Miami
- Round 7: Gerod Holliman, S, Louisville
Of the nine grades given out in the link above, the Steelers mostly graded out with a "B" rating, which is considered to be rather good across the NFL.
Although one writer, Evan Silva of Rotoworld, gave them a "D" citing issues with just about every draft pick they made and calling it, "a disappointing haul."
