NFL Commissioner To Speak With Steelers Fans
PITTSBURGH (KDKA/AP) - The NFL owners won the latest round of the lockout in court Monday afternoon.
The 8th U.S. Circuit of Appeals ruled that the lockout should remain in place until a full appeal is heard on whether it is legal.
Both the owners and the NFLPA met behind closed doors for eight hours on Monday. The talks were part of a court-ordered mediation and will resume Tuesday.
Another hearing involving both sides will be held in June.
On Thursday, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell will hold a conference call with Pittsburgh Steelers season ticket holders.
He has talked with season ticket holders of 20 other teams so far with the main topic of discussion being the lockout.
Thursday's conference call is scheduled to take place at 2:30 p.m.
