New Season Of 'Two And A Half Men' Debuts
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - Charlie Sheen's rants last spring cost him his job on the hit CBS sitcom "Two and a Half Men."
On Monday, the revamped show returns in its usual 9 p.m. spot, but with a new co-star aboard.
Viewers will soon learn how the producers of the show got rid of Sheen's character.
They will also introduce a loyal audience to new-comer Ashton Kutcher, who is well aware of the show's success.
"Great writing, you know, wonderful vulgar crass humor. Delighted people for a long time," Kutcher said.
This will be the ninth season for the show. Co-stars Jon Cryer and Angus T. Jones are back and are happy to be on the air after Sheen's shenanigans cut last season short.
"It's a challenge because you sort of have to find what the new show is, but halfway through the first episode we did, and it's been working great," Cryer said.
"I don't know about a different vibe. It's pretty much we are doing the same thing every week. It's just a different situation," Jones said.
Kutcher will move into Sheen's spot as a new roommate named Walden Schmidt, who is an Internet genius.
