New Class Heading Into Holtz Hall Of Fame
PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) Rob Pratte hosted Black and Gold Sunday live from Kuhn's Market. On this edition, Pratte discussed the Holtz Hall of Fame, founded by Lou Holtz to recognize the accomplishments of men and women in all fields in the Upper Ohio Valley.
The Holtz Hall of Fame is located in East Liverpool and was originally built only to honor former football coach Lou Holtz, Holtz decided to make it about the community and not just himself.
Pratte also covered this past weeks events of the Belmont Stakes and the French Open.
Palace Malice took home $1 million and first place at Belmont, Oxbow finished second and Orb finished third. Three separate horses won the three races of the Triple Crown this year.
Serena Williams won the women's section of the French Open in Paris while Rafael Nadal won his record eighth men's French Open Title.
