NEW CASTLE (KDKA) -- A man has been arrested in connection to a fatal shooting that happened in New Castle early Thursday morning.
New Castle City Police were sent to a home on North Lee Avenue near West North Street just before 8:30 a.m. for a report of a shooting.
When officers arrived at the home, they found 32-year-old Todd Rae Walker, of New Castle, dead from apparent gunshot wounds. Officers learned the alleged shooter ran from the home before they arrived on the scene.
New Castle Police officers and a Shenango Township K-9 searched the area for the suspect, who has been identified as Isaiah Angry.
Police put out a Be On The Lookout for Angry, and a Union Township Police officer received information there was a man matching Angry's description wearing muddy clothes in a wooded area near Boston Avenue.
The Union Township officer located Angry and took him into custody.
