Nate McLouth Excited To Be Back With Pirates
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) -- Pirates Outfielder Nate McLouth joined Seibel, Starkey and Miller live from Bradenton to talk about making his return to the Pirates this upcoming season.
McLouth said it's nice to be back to a place where he is happy and enjoyed some success.
There is a different feel to things around Pirates Spring Training than there was a few years ago, and Nate attributed that to some of the veteran presences around the clubhouse.
McLouth also discussed how good Andrew McCutchen is and what a valuable asset he is to this team because he is capable of hitting anywhere in the lineup.
Nate took a look back at the last 3 years with the Braves and why things didn't go the way he wanted them to once the Pirates traded him.
We also got Nate's input on what he's hearing about the AJ Burnett mishap during bunting drills today which resulted in him fouling a ball off his eye.
We wrapped things up with Nate getting his thoughts on a few of the key players in camp this year.
