Multiple homes catch fire in Allenport Borough

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- No one was injured when multiple houses caught fire Wednesday night in Allenport Borough. 

The fire started at a home along Main Street around 6:30 p.m. and quickly spread to the houses on each side of it. 

The Stockdale Fire Department said everyone was able to get out of the homes safely and no one was injured.

Fire crews from Stockdale, Roscoe, Fallowfield Township, Charleroi, North Charleroi, North Belle Vernon, and Monessen all were called to help put out the fire. 

Firefighters were at the scene for several hours. 

The Red Cross was called to assist the impacted families and the Fire Marshal is investigating what sparked the blaze.
