Motorcyclist Killed In Head-On Crash On Route 51
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- One person was killed in a head-on crash late Thursday night on Route 51 in Pittsburgh's Duquesne Heights neighborhood.
It happened just before midnight in the 800 block of Route 51.
Crews blocked off the area while they cleared the wreckage. The road reopened overnight.
The motorcyclist died at the scene, but the Allegheny County Medical Examiner has not yet released the person's name.
The driver of the car was taken to the hospital and released.
