Man Dies In Motorcycle Accident Involving Dirt Bike
PENN HILLS (KDKA/AP) -- A man died Saturday afternoon after he crashed his motorcycle while trying to avoid someone on a dirt bike.
The Allegheny County medical examiner identified the victim as 48-year-old Chester Gaunt, of Monroeville.
The collision happened around 4:15 p.m.
Penn Hills police said Gaunt and his 14-year-old son were riding in the Gascola slag dump area.
Chief Howard Burton said Gaunt swerved to avoid a collision with a 17-year-old riding a dirt bike in the opposite direction, and both riders crashed.

Gaunt was pronounced dead at Forbes Regional Hospital just after 5 p.m.
The other rider broke an arm and was taken to a hospital. Penn Hills police are investigating the accident.
