More Than 70 Port Authority Bus Routes Will Change
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - The Port Authority is changing more than 70 bus routes around the city.
Starting Sunday, June 16, the Port Authority will adjust nearly 45 bus routes.
Included in the adjustments, are routing and schedule tweaks to the bus routes affected by the ongoing weight restriction on Swissvale's Kenmawr Bridge, as well as changes to better serve Bedford Avenue in the Hill District.
They will also begin the consolidating bus stops. Nearly 430 stops across 36 bus routes will be eliminated. The Port Authority says those stops chosen for elimination are ones that get little or no use. Click here for a complete list of route changes.
