More Problems For Terrelle Pryor
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The problems for Terrelle Pryor and the Ohio State Football program continue.
ESPN's "Outside The Lines" is reporting that the troubled quarterback made thousands of dollars autographing memorabilia in 2009-10.
A former friend of Pryor's told the program that the signings for cash occurred a minimum of 35 to 40 times and the quarterback made between $20,000 to $40,000.
This former friend spoke to ESPN under the condition that his face not be aired on television and that his name not be published.
Pryor reportedly received $500 to $1,000 each time for signing mini football helmets and other Ohio State memorabilia.
It was also revealed today that Ohio State was recently cited by NCAA enforcement officials for dozens of payments Pryor received from a Columbus sports memorabilia dealer.
The NCAA violations came to light when the name of Dennis Talbott, a local sports memorabilia dealer, was seen on checks Pryor was depositing in his personal bank account.
Talbott currently has a Pryor-signed item for sale on his Ebay sellers account.
The Ohio State football program will find out in August what punishment they'll receive from the NCAA for this and the Jim Tressel scandal.
