Moon Township Businesses On Lockdown After 7-Eleven Robbed
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Several Moon Township businesses were on lockdown Tuesday while police searched for armed robber.
It happened around 2:45 p.m. Tuesday when a man robbed the 7-Eleven convenience store on Brodhead Road.
By the time police arrived on scene, the suspect had run into a wooded area behind the store. Police used K-9 units to search for the suspect, which eventually led them to a garage on McClafferty Lane.
However, police were not able to locate the suspect and for an hour put the nearby Kinder Care, West Hills Rehab and Arena's Dance on lockdown.
The suspect is described as a white male, medium height and weight and was wearing jeans with hammer loops, a dark blue zipper-front sweatshirt and a dark scarf.
