Police Arrest Suspect In Shooting Near Restaurant In Monroeville
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Police made an arrest in a shooting earlier this week in the parking lot of a restaurant in Monroeville.
Damian Addison, 25, of Wilmerding, was arrested Thursday on charges stemming from a Tuesday night shooting outside the T.G.I. Friday's restaurant.
Addison smiled for reporters as he was being led into the police station.
Addison was jailed on $500,000 bail. He's facing a number of charges including, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm without a license.
Brenda Waters' Report:
Addison's attorney, Mikhail Pappas, said, "Allegheny County Sheriff's deputies barged into my office and took Addison away."
Pappas told reporters that at the time of his client's arrest, "We were meeting to discuss him turning himself in. I know it looks like he was trying to evade arrest."

Investigators said that Addison, who worked at the T.G.I. Friday's, shot and wounded a 23-year old man outside the restaurant when the man was walking back to his car.
A criminal complaint says that Addison and the victim's current girlfriend had a previous relationship.
Pappas said it was the shooting victim who showed up at the restaurant with some of his friends, and targeted Addison.
