Three Arrested After Armed Robbery In Monroeville
MONROEVILLE (KDKA) -- Police arrested three people in connection to an armed robbery in Monroeville on Friday night.
The robbery took place at an unknown business on Route 22 on Friday night.
According to the Penn Hills Police Department, the suspects were seen driving toward Penn Hills after the robbery. They pulled into a driveway and fled on foot.
Two suspects were located in a wooded area and taken into custody. The third suspect was spotted, but fled from an officer into a densely wooded area. Police say officers were able to locate him near I-376 using an infrared camera on a helicopter. He was then apprehended.
All three suspects are facing charges. They have not yet been identified.
Penn Hills Police Department and Pennsylvania State Police assisted the Monroeville Police Department during the search.
