Crews Battle Fire At Jefferson Twp. Monastery
JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- Crews battled a fire at a Jefferson Township monastery Thursday afternoon.
It happened at the Nativity of the Theotokos in the 100-block of St. Elias Lane around 4:30 p.m.
The 3-alarm fire was reportedly caused by a lightning strike as severe thunderstorms rolled through the Pittsburgh area.
No injuries have been reported at this time.
