Mock Draft Has Steelers Selecting Cornerback In First Round
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - Rob Lang of The Sports Xchange / CBSSports.com is the latest NFL pundit to take a shot at predicting this year's NFL Draft.
With the Steelers first pick in the draft coming 22nd overall, Lang has them selecting Michigan State cornerback Trae Waynes.
Lang cites the poor play of the Steelers' secondary last year as the reason for this pick and talks about the type of the fit the 6-foot-1, 183-pound cornerback would be for this team.
Other notable predictions from Lang include Oregon Quarterback Marcus Mariota, rated the second overall Quarterback in the draft, falling all the way to the Jets at No. 6 and Pitt offensive tackle T.J. Clemmings being drafted being drafted 21st overall by the Cincinnati Bengals.
