Missing Woman's Clothing Found In Boyfriend's Home
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- New evidence could point to foul play in the case of a missing 19-year-old woman from Mt. Washington.
Allegheny County Police say they've found Alivia Kail's clothing and some shell casings at the Esplen home of her boyfriend, Alex Lorenzi.
Kail has been missing since last month.
Lorenzi is being held in the Allegheny County Jail on drug and gun charges. Police believe they've found evidence that links him to Kail's disappearance.
Search warrants reveal that investigators found bullet casings, including 9MM shells found in a shop vac along with a pink tote bag with Kail's clothing inside.
Kail's mother identified the belongings for police.
Lorenzi is being held on $100,000 straight bond on gun and drug charges. His attorney says Lorenzi can't come up with the bond, so they are trying to get it reduced.
Kail's mother says there's no way he should be let out until he tells police the location of her daughter.
