Search For Jordan Lampus: Missing Erie Woman's Vehicle Found In Wyoming, Considered Suspicious
CHEYENNE, Wy. (KDKA) -- The vehicle belonging to missing Erie woman, Jordan Lampus, was found in Wyoming and is being considered suspicious.
Lampus is missing from Erie, Pennsylvania.
According to Cheyenne Police Department's Facebook page, Wyoming Highway Patrol located Lampus' blue 2006 Toyota Sienna Van with the license plate GGL-1167 parked on the side of the road.
Lampus was not located in the vehicle.
Tina Lampus has been hoping and praying to hear some good news. The last time she talked to her daughter was Friday.
She was expecting the 22-year old college student at Gannon University to leave her apartment in Erie and return to Beaver Falls the next day.
But when she never heard from Jordan and couldn't reach her on Saturday, Tina called Erie Police and she and her husband drove to her apartment.
"When we got there, the front door was locked, chain-locked. We went to the back, the back door was open. We could just walk right in," said Tina.
Tina says her daughters iPhone, iPad and bag full of clothes were missing. Later they received a phone call early Saturday that her phone pinged in Kearney, Nebraska.
Then she found out that Jordan's car was located about four-and-a-half hours from Nebraska. Troopers at this time believe this to be under suspicious circumstances.
Tina says they've received a number of messages on Facebook from people who think they saw her walking. She says her daughter is smart, but she's worried because she's off the grid and not communicating.
"This is not her normal personality. I don't know what it is. But I just know that we need to find her and bring her home and then figure out how to help her," says Tina.
Adding to the family's worries, they say Jordan suffered a concussion and gets frequent migraines. They don't think she has her medication.
According to GoErie.com, Lampus is 5 feet 6 inches tall and has blond hair and green eyes.
