1 Dead, 1 Injured In Menallen Twp. 2-Vehicle Crash

MENALLEN TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- One person is dead and another person is in the hospital after a two-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon in Fayette County.
The crash was first reported around 1:30 p.m. on New Salem Road in Menallen Township.
Police say Richard Thompson was killed when another car crossed over the center line and hit his vehicle head-on.
The driver of the other car, who has not been identified, was seriously injured. He was taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital in West Virginia for treatment.
The road had to be shut down for several hours while officials did their investigation and cleared the scene.
