Meek Headed To Indianapolis
Pittsburgh (KDKA)- Good news for the Pirates bullpen because it looks as though RHP Evan Meek is close to returning. Plus, the Pirates starting lineup for their opening game vs. Milwaukee.
Evan Meek threw a 35-pitch bullpen session this afternoon in Milwaukee and tomorrow will begin a rehab assignment in Indianapolis (AAA).
Meek has been on the disabled list since April 27 due to shoulder pain. If everything goes OK, Meek would likely return to the Pirates sometime next week.
