McQueary Still Coaching

PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) -- In the wake of Joe Paterno and president Graham Spanier being let go by the Penn State board of trustees, attention is shifting to those involved in the child sex abuse scandal who still remain with the school.

One of the few left relatively unscathed is Penn State receivers coach Mike McQueary, who has found himself at the center of the scandal due to his grand jury testimony alleging he personally witnessed former defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky raping a boy in the football team's shower facility.

Interim head coach Tom Bradley confirmed that McQueary would be coaching this Saturday during the school's game against Nebraska.

NewsRadio 1020 KDKA's Robert Mangino talks with Charlie Steele, managing partner at Steel Schneider Attorneys at Law, about why McQueary has been allowed to stay with the team, and how he may or may not be protected by laws meant to shield whistleblowers.

Listen to Robert Mangino every weekday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on NewsRadio 1020 KDKA!
