Woman Killed In McKeesport's 2nd Deadly Shooting This Week
MCKEESPORT (KDKA) - A 29-year-old woman was shot and killed in McKeesport early on Thursday morning.
This is the second shooting in McKeesport just this week. Both were fatal.
According to Allegheny County Police, they were dispatched to the 500 block of Fifth Avenue around 1:45 a.m. where they found a woman with a gunshot wound, dead in a vehicle across from the Beer Barrell.
Officers with the McKeesport and Allegheny County Police Departments were focused a black KIA for most of the morning. A white sheet was draped over the front of it on the passenger side.
Police believe there was a fight inside the bar prior to the shooting.
At this time, officers haven't made any arrests or released details on a possible suspect. The medical examiner identified the victim as Ericka Stevens.
Meanwhile, just on Tuesday, KDKA reported on a fatal shooting in the Crawford Village of McKeesport. George Brosey was shot multiple times.
Investigators say that was a targeted shooting. So far, no one has been arrested in that case.
