One Killed, One Injured In McKeesport Shooting

MCKEESPORT (KDKA) -- One person was killed and another was injured in a shooting in McKeesport on Saturday.
It happened around 1:15 p.m. in the 1600 block of Jenny Lind Street.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Allegheny County medical examiner's office has identified the victim as 28-year-old Wyatt L. Gaza, of Pittsburgh.
Allegheny County Police say a few minutes after officers arrived on the scene, they were sent to McKeesport Hospital for a report that a second man, 28-year-old Damien Ashley, had arrived at the hospital by private means.
Ashley was also suffering from gunshot wounds. He was flown to a trauma center and was last listed to be in stable condition.
Police believe that Ashley shot Gaza after the two got into a fight and then fled after Gaza returned fire.
Ashley is facing multiple charges, including criminal homicide, tampering with evidence and persons not to possess firearms.
